Diakonhjemmet Hospital now follows up patients with rheumatoid arthritis digitally through NOR-Flare - one of three apps Diakonhjemmet has developed together with Youwell for digital home follow-up of rheumatic conditions.
NOR-Flare combines symptom tracking, treatment guidance, and lifestyle advice, and allows the patient to log changes in their condition between scheduled consultations. This gives clinicians a better basis for detecting deterioration earlier, and for adjusting treatment faster than with traditional follow-up.
The solution is part of a broader collaboration between Diakonhjemmet and Youwell on digital home follow-up for patients with chronic rheumatic conditions, which also includes the apps URIKA (gout) and OA-AID (osteoarthritis).
